Expanding Amalgam

Controls:

WASD to move

E to toggle the editor

Left Click to attack with all attached arms (arms swing in the direction they are facing)

Scroll to  switch eyeball view

Gain parts by killing enemies (you will hear "body part acquired")

Build your own completely custom monster and take over the dungeon!

Be careful though, once a piece is attached, it can never be removed, so when you are adding to your amalgamation, be sure you are building it in a scalable way.

There are four different body parts that each improve your character in a unique way. You can acquire the body parts by killing the Flesh Boulders.

(I had 3d modeled more enemies, but I realized that I wouldn't have enough time to animate them all so the Flesh Boulders were the only ones to make the cut.)

I really enjoyed this game jam, it was a ton of work due to all the weird custom stuff I had to make for the graphics to look right, and it was a nice break from my other projects. That said, I'm really proud of how far I got with this in such a short amount of time, and I hope you all had a blast too!
